Canyon Road Farolito Walk
One of Santa Fe's most beloved ways of celebrating the holiday season,
the Canyon Road Farolito Walk lights up the hearts and souls of the crowds that walk this famous road every
Christmas Eve. Small bags filled with sand contain votive candles that softly glow on this magical night as they
line the neighborhood streets and adobe walls. Carolers spontaneously gather around luminarios, or small bonfires,
and sing for joy as they warm themselves from the cold night. The farolito walk has become an essential part of this sacred season.
Celebrate Samurai culture at the

A hundred miles of history pass under your
wheels as you bicycle down the ancient Turquoise Trail through the old mining
towns of Madrid and Golden, across the mineral rich Ortiz and San Pedro Mountains,
across the Estancia Valley through the villages of Cedar Grove and Stanley and on to
the very old village of Galisteo, and 100 miles after you start, wheel back into Old
Santa Fe. In addition, there is a Half-Century loop and 25, 50, & 75 mile "out & back" routes.
